I am excited to continue my work in the energy industry in Colorado.
It’s definitely a fascinating time to be alive, and I feel very fortunate to be working in dynamic areas that have such profound effects on all of our lives: energy, food and agriculture, education, economics, ecology.
My experience includes work at labs such as BP’s Energy Biosciences Institute and the Center for Advanced Bioenergy Research, both at the University of Illinois; Director of Operations at the Vancouver Fruit Tree Project; and teaching at Graded School, an international school in São Paulo, Brazil. My education includes a PhD in the economics and ecology of bioenergy from the University of British Columbia (Land and Food Systems, Vancouver, Canada), to be completed in 2011, as well as a Master’s from the University of Montana and a Bachelor’s from the University of Denver.
